Description
Exceptionally light and highly ventilated, the Cytal Lite helmet offers outstanding protection and comfort in the mountains.
• Exceptionally lightweight • Integrated wing • Highly ventilated • Lightweight adjustment system
Exceptionally lightweight and highly ventilated, the Cytal Lite is the helmet that gives climbers exceptional comfort and protection in the mountains. Our lightest helmet yet, the Cytal Lite is a true climber's helmet, featuring large, open ventilation channels so as much heat as possible can escape easily from across the whole head at the slower pace of a mountain climb. In order to maintain safety while reducing weight, the helmet features an exposed EPS shell, with an exterior PC liner in only the most necessary places to add more structural stability. The helmet features a wing similar to that found in sibling helmets, the Cytal and Cytal Carbon, but here it is scaled back to allow more heat to escape upwards and out of the helmet while climbing. Even the helmet interior is optimised to save weight. The padding at the front of the head has an open structure that allows more air to flow around the forehead, keeping weight as low as possible. A lightweight adjustment system is also included, making it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit.
- Extremely light The helmet is our lightest so far, weighing 180g (+/-5g) in a size M (EN1078 safety standard).
- Structurally strong The shell and liner combine to provide enhanced structural integrity for ultimate lightweight crash protection.
- Lightweight EPS Liner: A low-density EPS Liner: keeps weight as low as possible while still providing crash protection.
- Lightweight in-mold PC Shell: The outer PC Shell: is scaled back wherever possible, covering the liner only where absolutely necessary so that as many grams as possible can be saved.
- Open padding structure The comfort padding at the front of the helmet features only vertical padding, allowing more air flow across the forehead and keeping weight low.
- Integrated wing A thinner integrated wing helps control airflow through and around the helmet, and improves the helmet's ventilation.
- Lightweight straps The helmet is kept securely in place thanks to the lightweight straps.
- Adjustable fit A lightweight adjustable fit system makes it easy for every used to find a secure and comfortable fit.
