Description
The Forbidden Druid E is the electrified evolution of Forbidden's legendary high-pivot trail platform — and it's been worth the wait. Built from the ground up as a full-power e-MTB, the Druid E combines Forbidden's signature Trifecta V3 suspension with the advanced Avinox drive system to deliver a bike that climbs effortlessly and descends with the same class-defying confidence the Druid is known for.
At the heart of the Druid E is the Avinox drive system, paired with an 800 Wh battery for extended range on long days in the hills. T4 and T3 builds are powered by the Avinox M2 motor, delivering 110 Nm of continuous torque (125 Nm on boost) and 1,100 W of peak power. T2 and T1 builds step up to the Avinox M2S, producing 130 Nm of continuous torque (130 Nm on boost) and 1,300 W of peak power for maximum performance capability. Power delivery is intuitive and tuneable via the 2-inch OLED full-colour control display and the Avinox app, with wireless handlebar controls keeping everything within easy reach on the trail.
The Trifecta V3 suspension platform has been redesigned specifically for the demands of an e-MTB. A vertically positioned shock maximises dropper post clearance, a carbon rocker link reduces unsprung mass and isolates the shock from lateral forces, and the suspension tune has been refined to deliver a supple, consistent feel under power. The result is 150mm of rear wheel travel that works with you on the way up and inspires confidence on the way down.
The Druid E is the world's first truly proportionally sized e-MTB, with Forbidden's OneRide sizing treatment applied across all four frame sizes — so every rider gets the same handling characteristics regardless of stature. Mixed wheel sizing (29" front, 27.5" rear) keeps the bike agile and manoeuvrable despite the added weight of the motor and battery.
A full suite of custom in-house frame protection covers the chainstay, seatstay, downtube, and motor. An e-bike-specific 18-tooth steel idler with Enduro solid lube bearings ensures drivetrain longevity and compatibility with the latest T-Type and AXS drivetrains. Every size can accommodate a full 26 oz water bottle, and the Druid E carries Forbidden's lifetime carbon frame warranty.
Available in four build levels — T1 through T4 — the Druid E scales from trail-ready performance to full top-spec capability, with every build sharing the same full carbon frame and Avinox drive system. This is witchcraft, electrified.
